3 DIY Tips For Attracting Your Ideal Client

On paper, everything seems perfect in your business. You’re booked and busy, your invoices are paid on time, your bills are current, and your clients rave about you from the mountaintops. However, the part that most don’t see is that you’re stuck doing work you don’t enjoy, and you’re constantly working with clients who insist on trying it.

If this sounds all too familiar, keep reading, sis. This is how you attract your ideal client:

Position Yourself As The Go-To

For your ideal client to find you and take you seriously, you have to speak to their pain points and gain their trust by positioning yourself as an expert. Write blogs, make video content (reels), and take stellar brand photos that align with your brand’s mission, tone and voice. Share your expertise as often as you can and be sure to only speak on topics that your ideal client will find interesting. If you want to attract mompreneurs, for example, focus your content on speaking to the pain points that only moms with businesses can relate to. This helps with your credibility, which then allows them to see your brand as the solution to their problem.

Take Time to Build Your Brand

Establishing a cohesive brand is key to showing up as an expert or thought leader. Be sure to have an amazing brand and image strategy in place, a fresh website, a distinctive logo, a tone that feels relatable to your ideal client, and a wardrobe that aligns with your brand’s personality. A strong brand identity establishes credibility. Credibility fosters trust. And once you’re trusted, you’re one step closer to securing your dream client.

Testimonials, Testimonials, Testimonials

We can’t say this enough sis: Get testimonials! Take full advantage of reviews from your past or current clients, and use platforms that have rating tools, such as Facebook Business and Google Reviews. Potential clients tend to trust past clients, and when they see positive reviews, your credibility gets an instant boost. Not sure how to ask without feeling awkward?
