I’m your host, Kage Spatz — here to help you attract more customers, earn more trust, and deliver more value. Today I had the pleasure of talking with Dwayna Williams.
Dwayna is a self-described “millennial mompreneur” with a passion for creating brand awareness and exposure. After graduating from North Carolina Central University, Georgia State University, and working a couple of years in the corporate workspace, she pursued her quest to be a fresh and creative entrepreneur in public relations.
Dwayna has experience working with brands in the lifestyle industries and takes pride in amplifying the presence of changemakers and purpose-driven entrepreneurs and experts. She has obtained her M.S. in Marketing and continues to gain recognition for countless brands. She is also certified in brand and customer management.
Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series! Before we dive in, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you tell us a bit about your ‘backstory’ and how you got started?
TGND Consulting (formerly known as Thee Girls Next Door, LLC) manifested from a conversation my twin sister and I had back in 2016. We wanted to work in a field where we felt a sense of purpose and created that avenue for ourselves. My passion to do PR work and newfound motherhood was the driving force for my pursuit of entrepreneurship.
Our team takes pride in amplifying the presence of changemakers, purpose-driven entrepreneurs, and experts. We work with women-led small businesses, lifestyle brands, and authors. The girls next door allure simplicity and charm; we’re down-to-earth, supportive, and approachable.
